Born from firsthand experience in the arts, ArtsRising was founded by Grace Cho, an artist and entrepreneur who founded and led the New Orchestra of Washington. Like many in the nonprofit world, Grace wore countless hats—strategist, marketer, fundraiser, and visionary. But as she immersed herself in the evolving digital landscape, she quickly realized the immense challenges small nonprofit arts organizations face: navigating the complexities of ever-changing marketing technology without the high-level resources or expertise that larger organizations can access.

Driven by a passion to empower other nonprofit arts organizations, Grace created ArtsRising that demystifies marketing technology, providing tailored, scalable solutions that help arts organizations thrive in the digital era.
